Abstract

Nano-formulations have emerged as a promising approach for enhancing the therapeutic potential of bioactive compounds due to their unique properties such as increased solubility, improved stability, controlled release, and enhanced bioavailability. This research paper aims to explore the development of bioactive-loaded novel nano-formulations and their therapeutic potential in various biomedical applications. The paper discusses different types of nano-formulations, including nanoparticles, liposomes, nanoemulsions, and micelles, and their formulation strategies. Furthermore, it highlights the diverse bioactive compounds, including phytoconstituents, antioxidants, vitamins, peptides, and essential oils, that can be encapsulated within these nano-carriers. The research also covers characterization techniques, in vitro and in vivo evaluation methods, and potential applications of these bioactive-loaded nano-formulations in disease management, including cancer therapy, inflammatory disorders, neurodegenerative diseases, and antimicrobial treatment. Overall, this research paper provides valuable insights into the development of innovative nano-formulations for delivering bioactive compounds effectively and unlocking their full therapeutic potential.
