The French Air Force creates a fifth and tactical brigade

Abstract

The Chief of Staff of the French Air Force stated that the Fifth Nuclear Tactical Brigade established by the French Air Force will take Istrée (Bais du Rhône) as its core. Base entered service in 1980. French Defense Minister Bourget announced at the meeting of the National Defense Committee held by Congress on September 18 that a brigade of 15 "Puma" aircraft had been established.
