Abstract

A new process of yellow cake precipitation was studied by ground leaching. This process enables neither sulfate nor chloride to be used for the extraction and precipitation of uranium, thereby avoiding the formation of uranium salts that require high-temperature calcination. The company uses ammonium carbonate and hydrogen peroxide solutions for leaching, and fresh steam is used to stir the uranium-containing eluent to allow the ammonia and carbon dioxide to escape, finally
