Abstract

A Swedish irradiated fuel carrier will be built and launched in 1982. The ship uses a double-hull structure to reduce the risk of collisions. The ship is equipped with two independent propulsion systems. Sweden's irradiated nuclear fuel is sent to the Hague plant in France for processing.
