Abstract

Argentina has decided to import the Atucha-2 nuclear power plant from the West German Power Plant Union and the heavy water plant from Switzerland Sulzer Bros. This decision was based on the Argentine National Atomic Energy Commission's view that the Power Plant Consortium's experience in building the 366-megawatt Atucha-1 nuclear power plant was greater than that of Canada.
