Abstract

The use of nuclear energy is an effective way to solve the energy crisis, but the reserves of uranium are also limited. If the uranium in seawater can be used as an energy source, the energy crisis can be significantly improved. Although the concentration of uranium in seawater is very low (3.3ppb), the vast ocean contains about 4-4.5×109 tons of uranium. At present, a macro cyclohexanone (I) has been synthesized, and uranium in seawater has been successfully recovered. This polymer is a strong adsorbent for uranyl ions (UO2++). its remarkable chemical
